Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Leaders from all over Sale put on the Sale Gang Show 2009, at the

Garrick Playhouse, Barrington Road, Altrincham

between Tuesday 17th February
and Saturday 21st February '09

Everyone worked so hard to put on the show, meeting for a few hours every Sunday starting from September for the Senior cast and November time for the junior cast. All the hard work payed off in the end because the team managed to put on a fantastic show.

The PR team asked Kath Shaw (Costume Manager),

"What was in the Gang Show in 2009?"

"We had a great show :-

  • Beavers and Rainbows did a piece about Pooh Bear
  • Brownies and Cubs did Bugsy Malone, which was fantastic.
  • While, for the older cast there was pieces from Cabaret, Spamalot, as well as the usual sketches and songs.

The first half had a spectacular finally featuring the whole cast young and old in a rendition of High School musical, which the kids loved."

So what did the performers think

"It's exciting to go in and so funny" Gavin Lee from Sale Central Cubs

"It's great to perform in front of the crowds, it makes you feel like a real star" Victoria Portlock from 2nd Ashton on Mersey South Guides
