Senior Section Bonfire Night
Over 30 Rangers and Young Leaders enjoyed an evening at Ashley to celebrate Bonfire Night. The weather kept dry and the girls took part in some traditional games such as apple-bobbing in the Lodge before toasting marshmallows on the fire and watching the fireworks. It was a particularly special evening for 4 Rangers from Swinton & Worsley and 1 Ranger from Sale Moor who got invested.
County Ranger Advisor Paula Gray said ‘this is the second year we have run this event and it’s proved more popular than ever, despite the threatening rain! It’s important for Rangers and Young Leaders within the County to get the chance to mix, it makes the girls realise that Guiding is much more than their individual unit and new friendships are formed.’
