Role:

My role is to encourage and empower leaders and young members to experience an international adventure. To achieve this, I will:

• Encourage leaders to complete module 9 and take young members on an international experience 
• Assist and advise leaders in choosing camps/holidays 
• Organise International Opportunity / Selection weekend members to be chosen for North West Region selection and County International trips
• Promote the benefits of overseas travel as well as events happening around the world in Guiding which might offer opportunities to our County members.

About:

I am a Rainbow Leader in Sale and have a lot of experience of traveling internationally with Girlguiding including the North West Region 'Adventures In', The World Scout Jamboree in Japan 2015 and more recently leading a North West England trip for Guides to Finland for an International Community Experience (ICE).
