6th Higher Broughton Brownies hit the Beach
This summer 6th Higher Broughton Brownies enjoyed a once in a life time Jubilee Pack Holiday in Lytham St Annes. They truly got a flavour for the traditional English holiday destination through participating in some authentically English pursuits. Ann Healey tells us more:All the girls had a great time on their getaway. From good old-fashioned donkey rides on the beach, to a British Jubilee tea party, the weekend was filled with fantastically fun activities.
To begin with the girls made crowns and decorated their own personal cocktail glasses for our tea party. They also designed a unique jubilee t-shirt for the occasion.
On another day the girls made a Royal plant pot by sticking Royal family photos around the side of the pot and then picking flowers to plant in it. They also made a fabulous collage.
We finished off the holiday with a surprise disco, a treasure hunt searching for coins, and an educational activity on the Royal Family, it was all great fun!
