Growing Guiding in Partington
Building on the success of 2nd Partington Brownies (who formed last September) we are pleased to welcome 2nd Partington Rainbows who opened in November 2014.
The unit currently has 15 girls, a leadership team of two very enthusiastic Mums, both new to guiding, and a teaching assistant from the school as unit helper. On 25th February the new leaders and all 15 girls made their Promise in front of some very proud Mums and Dads. Everyone looked really smart in their new uniforms and the promises were “word perfect”. We are grateful to Partington Primary School for providing a wonderful venue and for all the support they have given, which is enabling guiding to grow in the area.
