Rangers from Urmston take aim at Altrincham Target Sports Centre
A group of Senior Section girls aiming to broaden their horizons hit the bullseye with an evening of target shooting in Altrincham.
The Rangers, from Urmston, chose the activity as part of the Senior Section’s personal development programme, ‘Look Wider’.
Leader Liz Southern said that, despite some initial nervousness, the group of girls had a great time target shooting.
She added, “The girls were very keen to try shooting as it was something perceived to be slightly ‘daring’ and very different to anything they had done before. None of the girls had tried it before which is quite unusual for a sporting activity.”
