Hale enjoy cricket
4th Hale Guides recently took an opportunity spotted on Girlguiding North West England's social media to have Lancashire County Cricket Clue join them for an evening of batting and bowling!
They said of the evening; "Our session was run by Jordan, who was excellent, and soon got all 19 of the guides engaged in the activities. They learned and practiced some cricket skills and then played a very fast pace cricket game - they were very competitive! It was lovely to have an activity that all of the guides enjoyed, regardless of their fitness level or their initial interest in cricket. Everyone agreed it was a great evening, and we've had since had really positive feedback from the parents."
It was easy to arrange, the session was well planned (and very easy for us leaders!). I can thoroughly recommend it to any unit.
