Urmston Division Remembers
Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers from 11 units in Urmston have been busy making poppies from recycled plastic bottles. Some of the units even tied this project in with their Future Girl Meeting Activities.
The Rangers took on the task of setting up the display and with the help of Urmston Partnership they were able to get permission to set it up in the window of an empty shop unit in a very prominent part of town. The poppies came in all shapes and sizes, and we think you'll agree they look great!
This has been a great project for getting units working together across the whole division and to raise the profile of Girlguiding in our area.
